'THE COLOR OF uses an averaging algorithm on the colour pixel values of the queried images, displaying the result incrementally as each picture is loaded. Taking the assumption that random images will average out to become grey, we can attribute any colour bias which deviates from grey, to the term as searched. Any further interpretation is then up to the user.'
'This is a system created to find out the colour of anything, by querying and aggregating image data from Flickr, a popular online photo sharing community. It is an attempt at answering a potentially complex and abstract question in an objective manner, by using simple algorithms on data originating from subjective human perceptions.'

TweetingSeat by Chris McNicholl
"TweetingSeat is an interactive park bench which is designed to explore the potential for connecting digital and physical communities. The bench logs its usage by uploading images of its users and environment to a live Twitter feed, allowing people to interact with it both in person and virtually."
"Each time someone sits down, TweetingSeat uploads an image from two cameras to the Twitterfeed. One camera is located on the bench looking at the surrounding space, and another is located nearby looking at the people who use it."

Hobius is
I liked your status — you liked mine. Oh, you said you feel sick, well I liked it anyway to make you feel better. That’s what good friends are for.
If you have something to share with the world besides your sickness and wealth you’re pretty much doomed. You can start a blog (that no one will read anyway, despite the fact that the real secret to become a popular blogger is quite simple: step one — become popular, step two — become a blogger).
Hobius is topic-centristic communication space where you can talk to thousands of complete strangers about things you all love. No need to make friends. No need to promote yourself or your blog. Just pick a thing and start writing.
Why is there a limit of subjects you can subscribe to/post to?
To save you from information overload, to save our hardware from overheating, and most importantly to save things from being garbage.
It’s the survival of the fittest at its finest: no one would subscribe to every topic, knowing that the choice is limited.
What should you post?
Post the things total strangers would care about and the stuff you’d read if it was posted by some person you don’t know (yet), it’s that simple.
- a “blog platform” where you don’t have to have 1000 friends to be heard;
- a “social network” that does not force you to be friends with your grandma to make her happy;
- a place where you don’t have to maintain either anonymity or notoriety;
- not a web site you want to use because everyone else does (and we mean it, registration is invite-based).
