Vladimir Sychev was born in 1945 in Kazan, USSR. Photography was carried away, as a student, but after graduating he worked as an engineer. In 1972, Sychev began his career photographer. He was one of the main photographer-nonconformist. In 1979, he and his family left the Soviet Union and settled in France. His pictures were published in magazines such as Paris Match and the LIFE; in 1980, has released album "Russian". During his long career Vladimir Sychev took photographs politicians, writers, movie stars, celebrities, centerfold, but the photographer's favorite characters are ordinary people who simply walk down the street, and, artists.
